Grim Dawn is a good game but it's got it's own issues and slapping a halfway D2 reskin on it doesnt fix any of those issues. I ended up using version 0.7.2.0 of Reign of Terror as a learning tool to. Reddit, accessed on, Diablo 4 Reign of Terror. Cataclysm, Diablo 2, Diablo 3, Grim Quest, NCFF and Zenith masteries are. I'm not sure if this is allowed, but the mod devs are taking a vote on whether or not they should remove all GD content from the RoT mod. The experience can feel very inconsistent to say the least. Diablo IV (codenamed Project Fenris) is an upcoming game in the Diablo series. If you play the Diablo 2 Reign of Terror mod, please vote regarding they should remove all Grim Dawn content or keep it. I bought the game 2 weeks ago and leveled up to 95 level, dont get me wrong it was really fun until lvl 80 but after that game seemed like it has not enough content for endgame and loot system is just a chore for me. I am very new to ARPG genre and D4 is the first game I played. ![]() Not to mention normal difficulty is laughably easy in lost parts, while veteran is frustrating often times (often due to this loot issue I mentioned above) unless you have a very solid build, prebuild in the crucible or are a very skilled arpg player. Bored of D4s end game, looking for a new game. Which then leads to enemies feeling like a slog to get through. Obviously making only my builds items drop is ridiculous but there should be some form of weighting (especially when this game was never going to be even remotely as populated as most arpgs with multiplayer, so trading is basically non existent). I often find myself using items 10-30 levels below my character level because my build for fire damage keeps finding bleed damage or vitality damage weapons, or items that are quite literally useless for my build. Then theres the main issues with GD, like its class system is phenomenal but it opens the door to finding thousands of top tier items that will literally never be used by you. ![]() This makes the mod feel like neither game fully and a sort of half way animated corpse of each. r/gdreignofterror: Unofficial fan-made subreddit for Reign of Terror, a Grim Dawn mod inspired by Diablo 2: Lord of Destruction. Along with the fact that the way D2 is designed and GD are, are quite different in terms of core game mechanics.
